Damian Murphy

Damian is a practicing barrister. He brings the skills that have made him a success as a barrister to all aspects of his dealing with clients. He is able to analyze complex problems and produce simple and pragmatic solutions. He is a practical and plain-speaking communicator and is able to manage demanding projects to deliver on time and on budget.

Damian holds a degree in Economics and English Literature from Cambridge University as well as a diploma from the University of Dijon in France.

Prior to joining Lighthouse in 2019, Damian spent:

• Five years at UBS (Executive Director, Global eDiscovery Counsel), holding relevant duties including eDiscovery Head of APAC and EMEA; revising Legal Hold Policy and Dawn Raid policy, and implementing training programs; Head of Subject Access Request Working Group; and cross-border specialist.

• 15 years in private practice as a commercial trial barrister where he became a leading authority on electronic disclosure.

• Six years as management consultant at Accenture specializing in financial markets.
