Dan Brassil is the Senior Director of Lighthouse's Research, Modeling, and Analysis group. He provides expertise in information retrieval, linguistics, and solutions design. Since joining the company in 2005, he has served in key leadership roles on a wide range of engagements, consulting with clients to identify strategies for capturing relevant subject matter from large document populations and overseeing the implementation of these strategies, ensuring they meet client needs and objectives. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Brassil taught linguistics at the University of California, San Diego and his work has been published in linguistics and information retrieval journals. Mr. Brassil received his B.A. with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz and his M.A. in linguistics from the University of California, San Diego.
