Jeane A. Thomas

Jeane A. Thomas is Co-Chair of Crowell & Moring’s eDiscovery and Information Management Practice and a partner in the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Group. In her role with the eDiscovery practice, Jeane has managed many types of eDiscovery matters in both government investigations and private litigation. She regularly counsels clients on Information Governance issues, including the development and application of effective information management policies, legal hold practices, and discovery response plans.

Jeane is a member of the Leadership Council of The Sedona Conference Working Group 6 on International Electronic Information Management, Discovery, and Disclosure and a participating member of Working Group 1 on Electronic Document Retention and Production.

She has served for more than ten years as Co-Chair of the Georgetown University Law Center Advanced Institute for eDiscovery. She regularly speaks and writes on U.S. and transnational eDiscovery issues, and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional, with a focus on European regulation (CIPP/E).  

Jeane has been recognized by clients and peers as a top lawyer in Chambers Global and Chambers USA in the fields of eDiscovery and Antitrust.
