Jessica Casey is Assistant General Counsel in the Litigation Center of Excellence for Cox Enterprises. She is primarily responsible for the dispute and litigation matters of Cox Automotive and Cox Enterprises. Casey is also responsible for supporting all eDiscovery efforts across the Cox family of companies. She is accredited by the Association of E-Discovery Specialists.   

Prior to joining Cox, Casey was Assistant General Counsel, Litigation at The Pep Boys – Manny, Moe & Jack where she oversaw a diverse portfolio of litigation matters including asbestos, product liability, commercial litigation, environmental matters, and insurance coverage issues.  She also had primary responsibility for the Risk Management function, managing a team of nine professionals administering worker’s compensation, general liability, auto liability, and property damage.   

Casey started her career as a Business & Torts Litigation Attorney at Jones Day. She served as the Jones Day Fellow to the Atlanta Legal Aid Society (“ALAS”) and has participated on the ALAS Advisory Committee since 2020. Casey was recently selected as a co-chair of the 2023 Annual Campaign for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyer’s Foundation. She is an active member of the Georgia and Florida state bars. Casey currently resides in Sandy Springs, Georgia, with her husband Sam, her daughter Colette, and their two goldendoodles.
